My Story

Hi, I’m Saira, a Wollongong-based writer and communications professional.

I have a background in journalism, marketing, administration and small business support.

I work remotely with service businesses across Australia, helping them create clear, professional content that builds trust and improves their online presence.

My career has taken me through journalism, sales, marketing, administration and content writing across a range of industries.

After completing a communications degree and later a Master of Journalism at the University of Wollongong, I worked in technical sales and marketing, regional journalism, hospitality and business administration before moving into long-term content and communications support roles.

Working in regional Queensland and alongside small businesses taught me the importance of straightforward communication, genuine relationships and understanding real people — not just marketing buzzwords.

I also understand the day-to-day realities service businesses face.

My husband works in scaffolding, and over the years I’ve seen firsthand the challenges many tradies and service providers deal with — balancing long hours, customer expectations, competition and the constant pressure to stay visible online.

Many businesses are excellent at what they do but simply don’t have the time to manage websites, blogs, social media or Google updates consistently.
